Disclaimer & Disclosures
What Cliko Games is, what it is not, and how the site pays for itself.
01 Games Are for Fun
Every game on Cliko Games is free and made for entertainment. Nothing here involves real money: no betting, no prizes and no cash-outs. Card and casino-style games such as Blackjack are played for points only, and nothing on this site encourages real-money gambling.
02 Not Professional Advice
Some of our pages say that puzzles are good exercise for the mind. That is our view as players and as the people who build these games, not medical, psychological or educational advice. The games are not designed to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If you are worried about your memory or thinking, please talk to a qualified professional.
03 Accuracy of Our Articles
The guides on our blog cover the history and rules of games from many countries. We research them carefully and correct mistakes when we find them, but they are written for general interest, and the rules of traditional games vary by region and by family. If you spot an error, please tell us through the contact page.
04 Advertising
Cliko Games is free to play because it is supported by advertising. When ads appear on this site, they are served by Google AdSense, labelled as ads, and kept out of the middle of play. We do not choose individual ads and do not endorse the products they promote. Section 4 of our Privacy Policy explains how Google uses cookies for ads and how to opt out.
05 Affiliate Links
We do not use affiliate links. No link on this site pays us a commission. If that ever changes, we will label those links clearly and update this page first.
06 Our Own Books
The Books page links to puzzle books on Amazon written by the founder of Cliko Games under his pen name, Tauheed Farooq. These are his own books, not products we promote for someone else: when you buy one, he earns the author's royalty from Amazon. The links are plain links, not affiliate links.
07 Other Websites
Some links lead to websites we do not run, such as Amazon, other game websites and social networks. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Some Cliko games may also be published on other game websites, which can share their advertising revenue with us.
08 No Paid Endorsements
Nobody pays us to review, rank or mention a game, a product or a service on this site.
