Is Cliko Games really free?
Yes — every game, every difficulty level, no time limits, and nothing locked behind a payment. Two small banner ads, one at the top of the page and one at the bottom, are what keep it free. They never appear mid-game, never cover your board, and you never have to watch one to keep playing.
Do I need an account or to sign in?
No. There is no account, no email, and no sign-in. Open a game and play. Your best scores and daily streaks are saved in your own browser rather than on a server.
Do I have to download or install anything?
No. Every game is a single web page that runs straight in your browser — there is no app to install and no update to wait for.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Every game is built to scale to phones, tablets and laptops, with touch controls on mobile and keyboard or mouse on desktop.
How it works
How does the daily challenge work?
Most games have a daily challenge: one puzzle, or one deal, that is identical for every player in the world that day and refreshes at midnight. Finish it to keep your streak going, and you can hand the exact same challenge to a friend.
What are the seven difficulty levels?
Grid games run through Beginner, Easy, Medium, Hard, Very Hard, Scientist and Cyborg. Beginner leaves a few hints on the board to get you going; Cyborg leaves you nothing but the logic. Every level is free.
How do the “Challenge a friend” links work?
When you finish a game you get a link that loads the exact same puzzle or deal for whoever you send it to, so you can compare scores fairly. Share it by WhatsApp, X, Telegram, or just copy and paste it.
Do my scores and progress save?
Best scores and daily streaks are stored in your browser on the device you play on. Because there is no account, clearing your browser data or switching to another device will start you fresh.
What you can play
How many games are there, and how often do you add more?
There are dozens of games live across eleven genres — puzzle, card, arcade, word, math, strategy, dice, pattern, party, platform, global and (soon) sports — and we add new ones regularly, while improving the games already there.
What are Global Games?
Traditional card games from around the world — Basra, Briscola, Scopa, Cuarenta, Klaverjas, Schnapsen and more — built on their original local rules rather than simplified versions. You will find them all on the Global Games page.
Are the games suitable for children?
Yes. There is no gambling, no chat with strangers, and no content unsuitable for young players. Difficulty scales down to a gentle Beginner level, so the same game works for a child and an adult.
The fine print
Why do I see ads, and are they safe?
Two banner ads from Google AdSense are the only thing funding the games. They sit at the top and bottom of the page, never interrupt play, and we do not use pop-ups, auto-playing video, or anything that gets between you and your game.
How do you handle my privacy?
We do not ask for an account or personal details to play a game. Our privacy policy explains exactly what is and is not collected, including how advertising and analytics cookies are used.
